What a flurry of activity! Fall Festival was so special this year and a good time was had by all! Andy hosted a party at our guild hall and we had a nice looong game of Tricorn Trickery which I think everyone greatly enjoyed. There was a lovely little intermission when the immortals signaled it was time to gather and create candles from lumps of beeswax...I was fascinated; watching everyone around me work, some were more skilled than others, but everyone seemed to overflow with creativity. I was impressed with Pallas' ability to complete a candle so skillfully, though he said he had never done anything like it before. Even now I am still running into adventurers holding one-of-a-kind candles and I take great joy in having a close look.
Another first-time experience this season was adventuring through the Nocturnal Hand's haunted mansion. Ghouls and creatures I have not seen before or since! And what curious things they dropped...treats and candies and useless little bits too. I had the most magical dance with Pallas at their Macabre Ball. It was as if we were floating on our fondness for each other and I shall never forget that feeling.
I enjoyed dressing in my Foofy Poofer costume once more this season, and when I adjusted it a bit to make it more dramatic, I even won a costume contest! I was left feeling a bit at a loss when the activities died down. I didn't quite know what to do with myself, nor how to adjust back to my usual regimen. I have been sleeping an awful lot lately, leading me to believe I was more worn out than I thought.
Recently, I caught word of something the immortals are introducing called Frost Fall; some sort of festivities to celebrate the cold season. I have never cared much for the chill and frosty snow, but perhaps this time will be different. FrostFall with Pallas to look forward to now...
